I was excited to start my curly girl journey. I used all the products as per videos which was a great help. Who knew thats how you used the plopping towel! 😬 anyway my hair dried beautifully and so curly. Unfortunately i got caught out in the rain so i frizzed up and had to do a refresh sooner than planned. But so far so good. I think its all down to practice and time but loving how healthy and soft my curls look and feel. Thank you

I’ve just used my starter kit and can’t believe how curly my hair is now! I’ve loved watching the tutorials and will watch them over the coming weeks as I learn to care for my new curly hair. I’ve straightened my hair to varying degrees since I was about 12. I have never left a review before but felt compelled to today as I’m so impressed.

I have been using various different products and even trialed products for my hairdresser from companies and none of them have been anything like these.
I am absolutely amazed by how good these products are and what my hair looks like, I have really, really curly hair so always a bit worried what it will turn out like. Used it for the first time today my hair was frizzy and painful. I can’t believe how curly my hair is on the first go even the gel I thought would leave my hair hard but nope it’s soft as. Love my new hair care products ❤️

The only downside of this order was the extremely expensive shipping - shipping + handling + customs is almost half the cost of the order! I live in Romania so it's normal to have a fee, but I have previously ordered stuff from USA and it was much cheaper.
Please review your shipping methods and costs, I would like to order from you again in the future.
A little sceptical as I've been duped before but after reading about the CGM I had to try it. Can't believe how my hair looks after one wash (see before and after) Can't wait to see where this journey takes me.
So today I did my first wash using all the products from the CGM 3 month supply box. I have to say I’m very impressed with the result! I’m just waiting for the morning now, to see what my hair looks like after it’s been slept on! Lovely products, smells divine and seems to do the trick for curls! I had been looking at doing this for some time but was never sure until now, I’m glad I did!
I can’t believe the difference in my hair after only 2 washes! I only recently realised I had curly hair as I donated 11 inches of it to Little Princess Trust and my hairdresser pointed out how curly it was now it had been cut. The weight of it must have been pulling them down! Won’t go back to straight!

Everything worked for me , I have struggled with my curls my whole life and I was bullied at school for them at one point.
The trick is to only refresh when you need too and spread it out evenly I don’t use the style it, I love the concept and the method and when it comes to wash day it’s exciting the treatment blows me away !
I forever straightened my hair a lot as I wasn’t too happy with the curls I even shaved my head once when it got too much.

I started the CGM as my curls were getting more and more stretched out and fuzzy. I never new what my hair would look like after each wash. I never blow dried my hair or straightened it. It was just getting harder to have a good hair day. I purchased the beginner kit. I saw massive improvements in the condition of my hair almost immediately. However I retained a halo of frizz. I moved onto the Intermediate kit and realised after watching all the new videos available to me that my hair requires heavy products and lots of moisture. Using Treat It 4 weekly, generous amounts of the gorgeous leave in conditioner plus (even when dry) Its Rich. They immediately changed my hair from a frizz halo to defined curl clumps! The 2 after pics are the first time they appeared. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you 🙏
With the new routine I do find I can still get frizz but I get way less of it.
I live in Southern Australia which has a very dry climate with lots of sun and I find I need to add lots of moisture to combat the dry weather conditions.

What your best advice would be: Try not to comb your hair immediately! It's very important. I just use the scalp massager whilst washing to comb out my hair. Plus i use it to massage my scalp a bit , double win!
What is your trick or trick that works for you:
I have very dry hair so I have to dampen it every day. On the first day after a wash, just dampening it + adding tame to the roots against frizz works fine. The day after however, I add a little bit of leave in conditioner plus tame! On my roots.
Another very important thing for me is; on wash day, I wait until my hair dries and the products get crunchy. Then I SOTC with 'seal it' oil to give it the extra hydration it needs.
Another big thing is.. pineapple your hair at night ! It looks funny but it does the trick
What didn’t work for you: I am happy with the effects of Tame on my roots, but my hair still gets frizzy after wash day. So I am still looking for a lasting solution.
Anything you’d like to add: I am 30 now. I've always had curls but they just kinda disappeared in my 20s. Hairdressers told me it's just because of the change in hormones .. well, my curls already looked better and more healthy after the first application!
I have tried other cg friendly products, but the cgm club products are the best in my opinion.

I just saw you posted a before and after pic of mine 😄.
I recently had my first curly cut, so most of the previous damaged hair is gone. And I still use my cgm products from my " pre Brexit backup bag" - see pic 🤣.
Anyways. I've tried different brands this year, but I always come back to your co wash and leave in conditioner. I need lots of moisture and these products never fail me ❤. I add a tiny bit of water and leave in every day because my hair dries out quickly. And it's THE BEST. Other products either weigh down my curls and make them look greasy or they just can't hydrate my curls at all.
So thank you Heather. Your products were my start in this curly girl method lifestyle, and I still love them ❤.

What is your trick or trick that works for you:I get better curls using casting queen than style it. I also love the height that tonic gives my hair.
What didn’t work for you: Plopping for too long gives me a flaky scalp.

I’m really impressed by this starter kit and the emails with info / tips and videos that follow the purchase. My hair is sooooo much better!!! I’m only a few weeks in and can say the conditioner smells amazing and my hair is really responding well to this method! The gel works really well (it could smell nicer) I’m delighted with this range! I’m considering trying these products on my daughter’s hair. She is 12 but has very thick, curly hair and struggles with frizz. I notice you offer a children’s product but can you advise if this is the same as the adult set and if there is anything she shouldn’t use from the adult starter set?

For all curly kids starting with us, their first step should be a starter kit. This includes everything you need to get started washing and refreshing their hair. On top of that you will get access to CGM Club™ which is our tutorials hub where you will learn how to use everything, how to understand their hair and all the troubleshooting tips. The difference between the kids kit and the adult kit is that we don’t include a scalp massager or any stylers, as we don’t we know not all kids will sit and allow an adult to scalp massage their scalp and we don’t recommend stylers before the age of around 11. As she is 12, she could benefit from the full starter kit, but it is entirely up to you as all our products are safe to use over the age of 3! I hope this makes sense! xx
