It’s actually designed to have some flex — that’s what helps reduce snagging and breakage when working through curls. Rigid combs can be a bit harsher, especially on wet or delicate strands.
That said, I get what you’re saying — it can feel different if you’re used to something firmer. Really appreciate the feedback 🫶

I was skeptical about any wide tooth comb being different from another. When it arrived I could tell instantly it was made from something different, feels softer. First use I was impressed because it didn’t grab at any of my hair. I like it

Hi Caroline, with our starter kit are tutorials called the CGM Club, that covers this topic, if you have a kit log in and click first wash and techniques. If not, top tips: use the wide tooth comb after our Leave In Conditioner & Style It, styling upside down from scalp to ends then shake your hair side to side gently and this will encourage your curls to clump, creating defined curls.
