I realised this firsthand when I was in the hospital with sepsis in 2022. The standard shampoo and tiny comb,  I smiled and said thank you but knew I wouldn't be able to wash my hair until I was home.   

Times can be tough—whether it’s a teen who can’t afford the right products, a mum in a DV shelter, or someone navigating chemo curls.

That’s why £5 from every full-price Starter Kit sold goes into a fund to help those in need. When someone lands in my inbox struggling, we can send them a kit, no questions asked.

We also donate Co-Washes & tools to hospitals, DV shelters, and local women’s refuges. Even our few returns (less than three a year!) get paid forward.

Soon, we’ll be launching pay-it-forward options so our community can help us spread even more curl love. Because everyone deserves to feel good about their waves & curls—no matter their circumstances.

Caring for curls shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense. That’s why we’ve built sustainability into everything we do—from the way we formulate to the packaging we use. 

Sustainability Over Profit– Proudly formulated in the UK to UK standards and compliance.  We chose our manufacturer  as they are using technology to reduce there carbon footprint through reduced water consumption, heating, electricity, light, and use bicycles to commute across the vast site.

Recyclable Packaging– Every product we create is designed with sustainability in mind. Our bottles and packaging are fully recyclable, minimising waste.

Glass Where It Matters– If a product requires a non-recyclable plastic, we opt for glass alternative.

Clean Ingredients,Conscious Choices – Our products are made with clean, carefully selected ingredients that serve waves & curls—without unnecessary additives or fillers. 

No Returns to Landfill –We have one of the lowest return rates in the industry, and when we do receive returns, they are donated to DV shelters and women’s refuges, never sent to landfill.

We order in large quantities to reduce shipping whilst some of our products are handmade with love.

When I designed our brand I wanted something that truly represented us and our natural hair,  that celebrated it in a bold, vibrant and authentic way! 

When you see our bottles covered in leopard print, we want you to think—Wow! Alike to the stunning unique spots of a leopard where no two are the same!  We too as wavies and curlies are naturally beautiful, wonderfully unique, stunning, and one-of-a-kind.
